It's only 7 a.m. here in Los Angeles, and what a whirlwind it has been the past 24 hours. We officially launched the VanityGirlPopUp.com site yesterday at 9 a.m. PST (thanks for stopping by, BTW) and we're already sold out of the Vanity Girl Kills compact mirror (don't worry, we are getting more in. We think it's the perfect stocking stuffer!) and our Platinum Travel Vanity has been a crowd fave too.
For anyone who has launched a site, it's always a nail-biter. Even though my large Hollywood vanity mirrors have been hugely popular for going on eight years, this is a new venture and I didn't know how it would go! I'm so happy to report - it's been going great!
A few minutes after we launched, this Huffington Post piece came out about me, our new Pop Up and how to Build Your Brand Working With Influencers. That same day, the Los Angeles Times and Hollywood Reporter talked about our upcoming IRL Pop collaboration at B2V this Saturday as part of the American Express Small Business Saturday initiative here in West Hollywood. Stop by if you can!
Finally, the American Influencers Awards announced our second Instagram giveaway together. I'm working on a blog post about that AH-Mazing Event that was hosted by Patrick Starr and Kandee Johnson. Three lucky winners will win a classic Vanity Girl Hollywood Broadway Mirror (8 of them were used at the event for the talent to get stage ready and we have special plans for the Influencer-signed vanity!) AND a full Holiday bundle of our VanityGirlPopUp Shop items that just launched yesterday. It already has well over 1,000 entries.
